Current Vacancies

We currently have several vacancies within The Pledge team.

Vacancies for 1st September 2021 start (or as soon as possible after that date)

The Cheshire and Warrington Pledge puts employers at the heart of inspiring, informing and communicating with the next generation in Cheshire and Warrington.  The partnership was launched in June 2019 and is made up of 9 local Pledges that cover the whole of the Cheshire and Warrington sub-region.  The Partnership brings over 500 organisations together, including 400 employers, all of the secondary schools and FE colleges and most special needs schools, youth community and charitable groups, local authorities and employer led organisations.

The Careers and Enterprise staff are the external infrastructure for delivery of The Careers & Enterprise Company’s objectives to improve careers education for 11–18-year-olds.  Our Network acts as a catalyst, connecting employers with schools and colleges throughout England to deliver world-class careers education.

The direction of the Pledge is steered by the LEP's vision for Cheshire and Warrington to have the healthiest, sustainable and inclusive growing economy in the UK.  The LEPs Employers’ Skills and Education Board, Data and Labour Market Steering Group and Pledge Partnership Board help to provide the strategic direction.

Due to the successes of the Pledge Partnership we have secured funding to extend its provision and impact.  We are therefore looking for talented individuals to join our inspirational team.  As the Pledge Partnership brings a variety of stakeholders together, we are keen to receive applicants from a wide range of backgrounds, be it from business, education, voluntary or local authority.  We need people with a passion for helping local young people and local businesses to connect to support the Cheshire and Warrington community. Whilst both of the vacancies that we are recruiting for are full time, we would consider job share and part time arrangements subject to discussions.

The Pledge staff are employed by either the Cheshire and Warrington Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) or Youth Fed.

We are committed to creating a diverse environment and has policies that all qualified applicants will receive consideration without regard to race, colour, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, disability, age status. We also welcome applicants from those looking for part time/ job share arrangements.
