The Thompson Suite is housed in Northwich’s multi award-winning Lion Salt Works Museum - one of the foremost industrial heritage museums in the country. It combines the brick and wood of the original salt works with the conveniences of modern technology to create a fascinating and unique space with its own special charm.
A huge window overlooks the site, creating a bright, welcoming space that facilitates 30 people boardroom-style; 100 people, theatre-style. The Suite includes an exclusive cloakroom and toilet facilities and a well-equipped kitchen. The museum has a full alcohol licence and catering is supplied by preferred caterers.
There is free parking and the first-floor Suite has lift access. The Museum prides itself on its excellent customer service and all visitors receive a warm welcome.
The Lion Salt Works Museum is easily accessible by road from M56 and is just 35 minutes from central Manchester and 30 minutes from Chester. The site can be reached via rail from Northwich station (just a mile away) which is on the Manchester to Chester line.
