Net Zero Programme Manager

Mike is responsible for developing the pipeline of investible projects to deliver net zero for Cheshire and Warrington.

Working alongside public and private sector stakeholders, Mike oversees a range of strategic projects linked to net-zero, with particular focus on the local energy system, industrial decarbonisation, agricultural emissions, and renewable heat and power. In this role, Mike also acts as the Cheshire and Warrington Local Area Lead for the North West Net Zero Hub, affiliated with the UK Department for Energy Security and Net Zero. Mike has experience in a wide range of experience and expertise in net-zero and the broader environmental sciences, and has worked in various teaching, research, project management, and policy facing roles.
