The company has since exported to 130 countries worldwide, earning recognition as a Department for Business and Trade Export Champion since 2019. Helen is passionate about the skills agenda, particularly its impact on productivity in Cheshire.

Always championing SMEs, micro businesses and start-ups, Helen supports others through her ambassadorial roles together with public speaking and mentoring. She is also actively involved in local and regional education: providing careers support to local high schools and real business engagement and learning opportunities to university undergraduates and postgraduates.

Her commitment to making a difference was recognised in 2022 when selected to join the Northern Power Women Power List. The Power List “celebrates individuals who challenge the norm and use their influence and power for good… the influential trailblazers from across the North.”

Helen was awarded an MBE in the King's Birthday Honours List in June 2024 for services to Business and to Exports.
