Main Sponsor Announced for Green Expo 2024
EET Fuels is to be the main sponsor
EET Fuels, a key part of Essar Energy Transition (EET), is to be the main sponsor for 2024 for Green Expo UK which focuses on achievements towards net-zero and what a carbon neutral future will look like for organisations and individuals alike.
The third Green Expo is taking place this year in Chester, Cheshire, UK with the prestigious Photography Competition, a Youth Conference at the University of Chester on June 14 and the exposition at the Innovation Zone in Grosvenor Park June 15-16 at Chester Green Weekend. The Awards Dinner will be held on November 14.
EET Fuels is making a significant investment in the North West to reduce its emissions and help decarbonise the region by switching to low carbon hydrogen and industrial carbon capture.
Michelle Lewis, Corporate Affairs Director of EET Fuels said: “Last year we were proud to win the 2023 Green Expo Cheshire & Warrington Local Enterprise Partnership Award for Inward Investment as we plan to reduce Stanlow site’s emissions by 95% this decade.”
Michelle added; “We are supporting Green Expo this year with its Youth Conference for schools and colleges on June 14th. We’re working with the University of Chester, local colleges and schools to develop the skills needed now and for a net-zero future and to recognise innovation.”
