I’m Faith and I worked my way up the corporate ladder into Senior Management roles over 25 years across various industries including Law, Retail, Property, Automotive & Education.

I’ve always had an entrepreneurial spirit coming from a family who have been self employed. I decided in 2024 to use all the skills I learned in corporate and combine them with my desire to make a difference in the world and set off on my entrepreneurial journey.

I purchased an existing retail business Lee Louise in Chester that had been trading for 46 years. I love looking at things from a different perspective and making things as simple as possible and putting in place systems and processes. My passion within business has always been to get things that aren’t working to work well and to be profitable, this allows you to invest more into the business and also to be able to give back too.

Alongside this I’ve always had a passion for all things wellbeing, stress had seriously affected my health from many years of always being go go go in the corporate world so I wanted to help other people see that there is a different way to live life. The retail business is more than just a shop it’s a place where people leave feeling better than when they came in. It’s a quirky and curious Wonderland of wellbeing and self expression products including crystals, clothing, jewellery, incense, body jewellery hair dye and gifts with a touch of magic

I decided to join the Launch into Digital Skills Bootcamp to learn new skills around digital marketing and understand how these could help my business to grow.  The sessions that Angela and the team of very knowledgeable individuals involved have delivered have been engaging, inspiring and packed full of relevant information. The blend and style of the training has allowed me to learn many new things and most importantly implement these into my business enabling it to grow. 

The new learnings I have acquired have enabled me to:

1. Create and implement a social media strategy across multiple platforms and use the Meta Business suite of tools to monitor the performance through analytics
2. Launch my website and understand how to make best use of this as part of my digital marketing strategy
3. Understand how to use and implement AI effectively within my business
4. Understand and implement cohesive branding across both my digital and printed branding to create a brand identity 

As a result of the knowledge and training I have gained:

1. Audience growth has increased by 36.7% on Instagram and 32.6% on Facebook with 42 new email subscribers during the time of the Bootcamp, resulting in customers being driven to the business to purchase with a 1% increase in average sale value and the ability to market in future 

1. 5 new customers reaching out to make bookings through the website for brand new services set up during the period of the training resulting in £250 increased sales to the business initially with reviews and testimonials gathered to further promote these new services. In addition we have 17 new 5 star Google Reviews after requesting customer feedback 
2. Significant time savings using AI to develop the creation of ideas into strategy that I can implement
3. Create a recognisable brand identity using a mix of digital and printed materials to engage existing customers within the shop to connect through social media and email marketing channels and also attracting new customers through consistent brand messaging 

During my 20 year corporate career I have attended many training courses and also invested in lots of training personally, the Launch into Digital Skills Bootcamp sessions have been exceptionally high quality and provided significant value both to my business professionally and myself personally.
