DogFest Cheshire returns to Tatton Park

Cheshire East Knutsford visitor economy 24/08/2021

Most doggylicious event 25th-26th September

Tatton Park can’t wait to welcome four-legged visitors (and owners) as they host the most doggylicious event in their calendar on 25th-26th September; DogFest.

The Ultimate Dogs Day Out

This eagerly anticipated weekend is packed full of activities designed with your furry friend in mind including dog shows, dramatic displays, have-a-go activities, shopping village, music and festival refreshments. A perfect day out for dogs and owners!

The Main Arena will showcase back-to-back canine entertainment with jaw-dropping stunts and routines from the UK’s most skilled dog display teams. And if your pooch wants to have a go, the opportunities are endless! Sign your dog up to the ultimate Dogstacle Course, put their noses to the test in a game of Hide and Seek, take part in Ultimate Frisbee, race against the clock in the Hay Bale Race, and win treats galore on the DogFest Agility Course.

There will be interviews and interactive activities for you and your dog to enjoy at the Live Stage, sponsored by pet insurance providers, Bought By Many. Or why not settle onto a picnic blanket for a chilled afternoon listening to some pawesome festival tunes? Artisan food stalls, coffee vans and gin and prosecco bars will cater for your al fresco refreshments.

Help is at hand for dog owners, new and old

DogFest provides the very latest advice from guest experts on animal health and welfare, veterinary developments, diet and behaviour. Plus, there’s a chance to chat to DogFest’s official Charity Partner, Dogs Trust, to learn more about fundraising opportunities or re-homing.

Introducing the Puppy Academy

DogFest recommends socialisation at an early stage for every puppy’s mental wellbeing and future development. Due to the increase in dog ownership during the pandemic, DogFest has created the ideal place for your new ball of fluff to meet other pups of all breeds, shapes and sizes in a friendly and relaxed environment. (All must be inoculated and protected). It’s also where new owners can get the latest tips and advice from experts.

To top off your dog’s best day, you can enter them into the Fun Dog Show or if your four-legged friend isn’t one to chase the spotlight, why not take part in the Big Dog Walk? Pick a two or four-kilometre route around Tatton Park’s stunning grounds and discover fun games and surprises along the way. Book your DogFest tickets now at to avoid doggy disappointment!
