Case Study: Growth Hub Helps Super Healthy Homes to open a new UK office
Opening of new Warrington site
Super Healthy Homes Ltd, an Authorised Distributor for U.S. firm RexAir LLC, has been working with the Cheshire and Warrington Local Enterprise Partnership’s (LEP) Growth Hub to establish a presence in the sub-region. Company Director Steven Jim moved from Hong Kong to set up the company and has been able to access support from a key account manager, Ana Carbonell, who has helped the business:
- find a suitable site in Warrington and sign heads of terms, for their September opening
- set up a British business bank account
- understand the business support available locally
- start to develop a local network including the Warrington Chamber of Commerce
RexAir LLC are a U.S. headquartered firm who develop and manufacture products which improve indoor environments. Super Healthy Homes Ltd will distribute their innovative water-based Total Home Cleaning System called Rainbow which has a global customer base. In 2023 RexAir were looking to expand their presence within the UK and appointed Steven Jim who set up Super Healthy Homes Ltd.
Having identified Warrington as an ideal location, Super Healthy Homes Ltd enlisted the help of the Department for Business and Trade and local business experts Cheshire and Warrington Growth Hub and Local Enterprise Partnership to support them in finding a suitable site.
Working with an account manager, Steven was supported to set up a U.K. business bank account, ready to start trading as Super Healthy Homes Ltd. Ana also assisted Steven in identifying suitable sites around the local area.
Since finding their ideal space at Quay Business Centre, Super Healthy Homes Ltd has been working further with their account manager since starting trading in Warrington in September, starting with an initial team of 3 and planning to expand to 6 full-time employees within the first year.
Super Healthy Homes Ltd has also been taking advice from their account manager on what business and skills support is available locally. Their account manager has also helped them to start building a local support network, introducing them to Warrington Chamber of Commerce. This introduction has allowed Steven to initiate contact with two local logistics companies already.
