Artezzan – A New Mediterranean Restaurant and Bar Comes to Chester
The restaurant and bar will be a prime site on Pepper Street
Artezzan Restaurant and Bar is a brand-new Mediterranean inspired concept located in Chester city centre and is set to open in June. Artezzan will bring a modern, fresh, feel-good dining experience that will celebrate authentic Mediterranean flavours, service and atmosphere.
Taking a prime site on Pepper Street in the city centre and spread over 2 floors, the 140 cover premium restaurant and bar will transport guests back to holidays past and evoke memories of sun-soaked dining. The Artezzan menu combines classic dishes from Italy, Spain, France and Greece, and includes tasty Spanish Pinchos, homemade Artezzan pizzas and pastas, finest quality grilled meats and seafood and a wide selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes. The wine list will take guests on a journey, exploring the tastes and flavours that make the Mediterranean so unique. The interior of the restaurant will have a contemporary, fresh feel with turquoise and blue hues giving a light and airy feel.
Chester was an obvious choice for the first flagship operation. It’s a fascinating historic city with a great number of international visitors and a vibrant local dining scene making the city perfect for a new premium restaurant and bar concept.
Artezzan is headed up by Operations Director Jim Dorrington who has developed the brand and has plans to roll out this exciting new brand to more locations in the near future. “Although this past year has been very difficult for the hospitality sector, we feel that now is a great time to launch a new brand in the premium dining market. With the vaccine rollout going so well and the government roadmap on track we feel people will have confidence to eat out and return to some sort of ‘normal’”. The restaurant will of course be fully compliant with any regulations that are in place when they open. Jim continued, “We just can’t wait to give guests a warm Artezzan welcome, introduce the amazing team, its fabulous food and drink and of course its Mediterranean atmosphere”
