Local Authority Business Support

Each of our three local authorities, Cheshire East, Cheshire West and Chester and Warrington have their own business support programmes and initiatives for businesses in their area- including support for innovation, net zero, start-ups, skills and training and more . Each local authority also has business information resources, advice and links, especially to specific requirements or services they may have as a Council such as licensing requirements and trading standards. 

Each local authority has been allocated UKSPF funding to provide localised business support measures.The UK Shared Prosperity Fund (SPF) is a fund from the UK government which aims to improve pride in place and increase life chances across the UK investing in communities and place, supporting local business, and people and skills.
