Loren began his career with Westinghouse Electric Company where he was a part of the management and operations team for Springfields site near Preston.
Loren is the Chair of the Northern Nuclear Alliance (NNA) an extensive membership organisation covering the full supply chain of nuclear providers in the North West of England.
