National Careers Service

- Anyone who would like personalised advice can contact the National Careers Service for free, expert advice from a careers adviser. The service is open from 8am to 10pm seven days a week and can be contacted by calling 0800 100 900, visiting nationalcareers.service.gov.uk or searching for the National Careers Service on Facebook and Twitter.

New Leaf
As a National Lottery and European funded programme, New Leaf works with multiple partners across Warrington and Cheshire to support residents into work or training, manage their money and benefits, as well as gain much-needed confidence.
The New Leaf programme can offer various services:

- Skills building
- Mental health support

Cheshire West and Chester
Work Zones are supporting people who are coming out of work as a result of Cornavirus who want to temporarily transfer into a new job in one of the expanding sectors as quickly as possible by job matching them with local employers. If you would like Cheshire West and Chester Council Work Zones to help you transfer into a new role, please complete the details on the job matching register and they will be in touch to discuss your requirements.

Cheshire East
Cheshire East Council’s Supported Employment team are providing a job matching service. This is for residents in Cheshire East who are out of work as a result of Coronavirus. People looking for work can submit their details via the portal. A member of the team will then contact that person and help them to secure a job opportunity. At the same time local employers who are taking people on can also contact the team.
